The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria on Wednesday said the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, would experience power interruption between Friday and Saturday.
In a statement issued yesterday, Henrieta Yakubu, FAAN’s Head of Communication at the airport, said, “The power interruption is due to electrical maintenance the authority wishes to carry out at the airport.
“We write to inform you that there will be system maintenance of the high voltage side of the terminal building’s power transformer at the NAIA.” Yakubu explained that the interruption would occur between 12 midnight and 3 a.m. on the listed days.
She said, “This will result in a three-hour power interruption between 12 midnight of June 28 and 3 a.m. of June 29. The maintenance will, however, not affect Module D,” adding that “members of the public and passengers are thereby advised to please bear with us.”
