The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 14 vessels loaded with petroleum products have arrived at different terminals in Lagos ports. It said 11 out of the 14 vessels were waiting to discharge petrol, while the remaining three would discharge diesel and kerosene.
NPA is also expecting 97 vessels at various terminals from Nov. 1 to Nov. 30. A breakdown showed that 44 of the vessels would come in with empty containers, 16 vessels with vehicles, while 14 with food items, including frozen fish. Twelve vessels would sail in with petroleum products, five (general cargo), while six are expected with truck heads, ethanol, steel products and bulk fertilizer.
